Hope Reynolds established Kreative Kids in 2009 and has combined her lifelong love of arts & crafts, needlework, counted cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, and machine sewing with her passion for teaching children into fun, exciting, and imaginative classes for children, preschoolers through high school. as well as adults.
She teaches her daily classes from her light-filled, child friendly studio in her home in Vienna where the walls are covered with arts and crafts projects that children have made. She keeps her classes limited to 4 children to ensure so that each child has plenty of individual attention.
She is trained in Handwriting Without Tears, and incorporates the alphabet and concepts of colors, patterns, shapes, and sequencing into the crafts project. Kreative Kids is licensed and insured in Fairfax County.
Hope is the proud mom of two adult children, a married son who lives and works in Chicago and a daughter who lives and works in Manhattan. When she's not spending time creating new craft and sewing projects for the children, Hope enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, reading, and experimenting with new recipes.
Your children can explore the world of sewing with a wide variety of projects: pillowcases, pajama pants, tote bags, quilts, pencil cases, sewing machine covers, fleece jackets, overnight bags, to name a few. These classes are for children in grades 3 through 12 as well as adults.
